RTX Sydney
Date: 4-5th February

If you’ve never watched any of Rooster Teeth’s videos, you’re missing out on one of the best gaming, animation and science fiction channels of all time! The company’s been dubbed “the biggest thing on the internet” by the Sydney Morning Herald, with over 8.9 million YouTube subscribers enjoying their witty and hilarious series.
Rooster Teeth launched their first event in Australia last year, called RTX Sydney, and this year is set to be even bigger and better. There’s still tickets available, so get in quick before they sell out. We’ll see you there!
EB Games Expo
Date: September/October (2017 dates TBA)
Place: Sydney
Picture your local EB Games store… now picture it springing to life with lights, cameras and a whole lotta’ action! Dubbed by supporters as ‘one of the biggest cosplay celebrations ever’, EB Games Expo lets you experience everything from PC gaming to 3D car racing, virtual reality, live seminars, drone flying and more.
Note: this event is MA15+ due to restricted content, so is not appropriate for children.
Oz Comic-Con
Date: 23rd – 24th September
Place: Brisbane (also in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide throughout the year)
Dressing up as your favourite comic book character has never been more exciting. This world renowned two-day comic convention is growing in popularity each year and we couldn’t be more excited to show our support for the Australian gaming community by attending the event in September!

Supanova
Date: 10th – 12th November
Place: Brisbane
The Supanova Pop Culture Expo has been a widely enjoyed gaming event since it began back in 2000. Gather a gang of fellow gamers, dress in your favourite cosplay outfits, and get your game face on! Prepare to be amazed by the atmosphere, meet hundreds of like-minded gamers, and don’t be surprised if you run into some of your favourite celebrities either.
If you can’t make it to the Brisbane show, you might be able to catch one of the others on throughout the year (Gold Coast & Melbourne – April, Sydney & Perth – June, Adelaide – November).
PAX Australia
Date: November (2017 dates TBA)
Place: Melbourne
The fifth annual PAX event is sure to be yet another successful event! Set up inside the Melbourne Convention Centre, this mega game-a-thon has everything game-related you could ever imagine. Think console free play, virtual reality, live music and entertainment, exhibitions and stalls, live panels and web series with world-class developers, pub crawls and more.
